For the Love of Education Academy provides elite educational, leadership and social development training experiences for our scholars. Our team of mentors and facilitators work together to administer a unique range of learning experiences that include strategic thinking, socially conscious, action-oriented courses that improve the knowledge of self, leadership skillsets, and a love of learning for all scholars.
The FLE Elite Academy is intentionally designed for black men currently enrolled at a high school or community college. The Academy is a fun and rigorous four day experience with an opening ceremony Sunday night (families welcome) and a closing ceremoney on Thursday night (families welcome).
Each day has a theme which we focus on in our classes and activities. Below is this year’s daily themes.
- Sunday: Opening Ceremony (Welcome and Preparation for the week)
- Monday: Elite Education
- Tuesday: Black Male Leadership
- Wednesday: Building Wealth-Becoming a Black Male Millionaire
- Thursday: Moving Forward…Where do we go from here? + Closing Ceremony
FLE Scholars complete the academy with a renewed sense of self and leadership along with a guide to being successful in college and building wealth before, during and after college. Scholars leave with a new network of like-minded peers and successful black men who have reached elite status as educators, community leaders, and financial wealth builders.
